Citymoov was selected among the top 5 innovative government projects participating in the Abu Dhabi Government Pavilion at the exhibition

 

 

Abu Dhabi Public Health Center concluded yesterday, October 14, 2021, its participation in Abu Dhabi Government Pavilion at the 42th round of “GITEX Technology Week 2022”, which was organized at Dubai World Trade Center from 10 to 14 October, 2022.

During its participation, Abu Dhabi Public Health Center reviewed important qualitative projects that contributed to create unique digital solutions in field of Public Health. In top of which, Citymoov a motivational electronic game application aims to stimulate the physical and mental activity of individuals, and support ADPHC’s efforts to promote a public health system in Abu Dhabi and improve the health of the community members. The app was selected among the top 5 innovative government projects participating in the Abu Dhabi Government Pavilion at the exhibition. Furthermore, the Center also reviewed its most important innovative E-Systems, which is Disease Registry Electronic Platform. The system is designed to enable healthcare facilities in the Emirate to submit vital data and clinical information on chronic diseases, the Platform will support ADPHC’s efforts to advance Abu Dhabi’s public health ecosystem and improve patient outcomes. 


The participants in Abu Dhabi Government Pavilion, including the center, launched 22 different projects that showcased the process of digital transformation in Abu Dhabi, its future strategy, efforts and plans to accelerate this process, in line with the vision of the wise leadership. The participation of Abu Dhabi Public Health Center in the "GITEX Technology Week 2022" came within the framework of the efforts that aim to expand the base of partnerships between Abu Dhabi government and major international companies in the field of technology and digital solutions. 

 

It is noteworthy that Abu Dhabi Public Health Center was established, in April 2019, to implement a public health system that preserve the health of the emirates residents and ensure the safety of its workers by promoting the concepts of public health and preventive health. It is also concerned with collecting evidence and data about serious occupational injuries and accidents. Moreover, the Center also coordinate with the concerned authorities to identify the causes of any diseases and reduce their risks as well as registering all the licensed technical service providers and specialists in the areas of public health and preventive health. Furthermore, the Center also review and approve the systems of the entities operating in the emirate, in accordance with the requirements of the system.
