1. Are hand dryers effective in killing COVID 19?
No. Hand dryers are not effective in killing COVID-19. To protect yourself against the virus, you should frequently clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water. Once your hands are cleaned, you should dry them thoroughly by using paper towels or a warm air dryer.

2. Should shoes be left outside before entering the house?
It is preferable to leave shoes outside or in the place designated for them, as there are many microbes and chemicals outside and shoes transfer them easily into our homes.

3. Should clothes be taken off and put in the washing machine as soon as you come from outside?
There is no scientific evidence for this, but we advise to continuously change them.

4. Can spraying alcohol or chlorine all over your body kill COVID-19?
No. Spraying alcohol or chlorine all over your body will not kill viruses that have already entered your body. Spraying such substances can be harmful to clothes or mucous membranes (i.e. eyes, mouth). Be aware that both alcohol and chlorine can be useful to disinfect surfaces, but they need to be used under appropriate recommendations.

5. Can eating bananas help prevent infection with Coronavirus (COVID-19)?
There is no evidence that eating bananas can prevent infection with coronavirus (COVID-19). Bananas are healthy and rich in potassium, antioxidants, and other vitamins.

6. Are smokers and tobacco users at higher risk of COVID-19 infection?
Smokers are likely to be more vulnerable to COVID-19 as the act of smoking means that fingers (and possibly contaminated cigarettes) are in contact with lips which increases the possibility of transmission of virus from hand to mouth. Smokers may also already have lung disease or reduced lung capacity which would greatly increase risk of serious illness.

7. Can eating garlic help prevent infection with the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV)?  
Garlic is a healthy food that may have some antimicrobial properties.
However, there is no evidence that eating garlic has protected people from the novel coronavirus (2019-nCOV).

8. What is correct way to wear mask?
o Before putting on a mask, clean hands with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water
o Cover mouth and nose with mask and make sure there are no gaps between your face and the mask.
o Avoid touching the mask while using it; if you do, clean your hands with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.
o Replace the mask with a new one as soon as it is damp and do not re-use single-use masks.

9. How to protect yourself and others from getting sick?
o Clean hands with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water after coughing or sneezing and when caring for the sick
o Throw tissue into closed bin immediately after use
o When coughing and sneezing cover mouth and nose with flexed elbow or tissue
o If you have fever, cough and difficulty breathing seek medical care early
o Avoid close contact when you are experiencing cough and fever
o Avoid spitting in public

10. Are there Certificates for being coronavirus-free?
Coronavirus examination is only done for certain cases suspected of being infected and is determined by the doctor. There are no medical fitness tests or certificates for being coronavirus-free
